QRIS payment is now available for Photobox customers, allowing them to simply scan the QR code displayed on the Photobox machine’s screen to complete their payment. Once payment is made, the machine will automatically proceed to the next step—selecting a template or photo mode—and take and print the photos. The entire process is fully automated and does not require an operator.

One example of a photobox with QRIS payment has been implemented at the Sumairupict photobox located on the 2nd floor of Cafe Janji Jiwa 159, Kotawisata, Cibubur. Customers can make payments via QRIS through various platforms, primarily GoPay, Dana, OVO, LinkAja, and all mobile banking apps that support the QRIS feature, such as mBCA and Livin Mandiri. The main advantage of using the QRIS feature for payments at the photobox is that no operator or cashier is required to operate it, allowing the photobox to be fully unattended (self-service), with the entire process—from payment, template selection, and photo-taking to sending digital copies via email and printing—carried out automatically.
The availability of the QRIS payment method on photoboxes offers benefits both to photobooth customers—who enjoy a streamlined payment process—and to photobooth owners, who no longer need to have staff on standby to operate the photoboxes.
